ACS is using FalconStor's CDP. The INI Group interviewed Paulus Gan,
storage architect. This is how Paulus
describes his role:
“My
role in the company is the storage architect. The storage group handles storage
and backup. My role as the architect is to look for new products, new
technology that will make our company more competitive. My other role is also
to be the architect to support our salespeople when we go out to proposing
something to a big company. My role is to figure out what's the best way to
decide in what will reduce the complexity and reduce costs. I’ve been with ACS
four and a half years now and I’ve been in IT probably 27 years.”
The following is an overview of ACS’ IT environment:
- Business
process, outsourcing and IT services
- Fifteen
petabytes of storage
- Fifteen
managed data centers in the US and globally
